- NORTHEASTERN THAI STREET FOOD -
!! NOTICE !! HOURS DUE TO COVID-19 !!
WED / THURS / FRI / SAT / SUN : 5:30PM - 8:00PM !!
ONLINE PRE-ORDERS ONLY through our website for contactless curbside pickup. We will not be taking any orders at the window. Please help keep us safe with social distancing, so we can keep you safe. Pickup is in the back parking lot behind our foodtruck.
We are often fully booked for the night and started selling out between 3pm - 4pm (a couple hours before opening)... In order for us to try and provide the best service available, without delayed tickets and falling behind, we will need to limit the number of reservations / orders we accept that come in after 4:30pm. We will continue to take orders throughout service if capacity is available, but it will be largely reduced to ensure we are on time and not delaying your tickets!
Lastly, we do not "partner" with the big national delivery chains as they take 30% of top-line revenue, which we feel is not a sustainable business model for small local family run businesses.
My wife and I thank you for your continued support, it means the world to us. Hope to see you soon!!

Meet Chef Lakana Sopajan-Trubiana
DEE DEE, “Good Good”, is an Austin based food truck started by husband and wife, Justin & Lakana. We serve authentic Northeastern Thai street-food from the heart of Thailand’s country side.
Lakana was born to a family of farmers and raised in Thailand's northeastern countryside known as Isaan, which shares a cultural heritage with Laos. From a young age she helped her family with planting the vegetables and rice they would sell at the local market. She would wake before sunrise, spending the early morning hours helping her mother and great-grandmother prepare the meals to feed the family, co-workers and to sell at her school’s market before going to class. This is where her appreciation for the freshest, healthiest and best ingredients was learned.
Through generations of experience Lakana learned the joys of cooking. The preparation of a meal was an intensive and time consuming process that is lost on most of us with today's hectic and busy schedules. However, it is from these experiences that her passion for cooking was born... and now she wants to share her traditions, passed on through the generations, with you, your family and friends.
Lunch & Dinner, Wednesday through Sunday
Some of our favorite food & drinks from the Thai countryside, all prepared, to order, by a chef in the exact same way she grew up cooking with her family in the rice fields of Roi Et, Thailand.
